Spin

Arguably our most popular class, it’s a form of exercise focusing on endurance, strength and high intensity intervals using a stationary bike with a weighted flywheel. The high intensity nature of the class makes it the best for weight loss, burning 400+ calories on average over the 45 minutes.

Circuits

Circuit training is a combination of 6 or more exercises performed with short rest periods between them for either a set number of repetitions or prescribed amount of time. One circuit is when all chosen exercises are completed. This class helps build muscle and fitness while burning calories.

Gentle Gym

Gentle Gym is a class designed for older age groups to help maintain muscle strength, flexibility and mobility. It incorporates a variety of exercises that are low impact and easy on the joints.

HIIT

HIIT or high intensity interval training is a technique in which you give all out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active recovery periods. This type of training keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time, primarily through the use of body weight exercises but can incorporate equipment.

Power Hour/Power 30

Power hour and Power 30 are a one hour/30 minute gym based class that differs each week. It’s a small class of just 6 people which allows for greater interaction with the instructor where you can work to perfect your technique and gain confidence in using gym equipment that might be out of your comfort zone (Squatting rack etc.).

Yoga

Yoga is one of the most popular group fitness class there is and has seen a huge rise in popularity over the last two decades. Rather than being a discipline that pushes your cardiovascular system to the limit, Yoga instead relies on improving your strength, flexibility and breathing through a series of increasingly difficult stretches. It’s designed to help you think more clearly and improve your mental wellness, as well as helping with your overall health and fitness.
